When you print a document in Microsoft Word 2000, Microsoft Word 2002, Microsoft Office Word 2003, or Microsoft Office Word 2007 an additional page is printed that contains information about the document with the following information:

Number of Words:
Number of Characters:

How to Stop Printing Document Properties Summary Page in Microsoft Word

  1. ·         Click the 'Office Button' (top-left corner of the window) then 'Print'
  2. ·         Click 'Options' (bottom-left corner of the print window)
  3. ·         Choose the 'Display' section
  4. ·         Untick 'Print document properties'
  5. ·         Click OK to all the windows and you're done
