Diff between Burglar, Rob, Mug and others

We may consider few words have the same meanings but it isn't so. They have different meanings. For eg, words like Burglar, Rob, Mug, Shoplift, Pinch, Flick and nick have different meanings. 

• Burglar - Steal thru illegal entry
• Rob - By external force or threatening
• Mug - Public attack and steal
• Shoplift - Steal from shops
• Pinch, Flick & nick  - Friendly steal
