EPF Claim Settled but not Received to your Bank Account?

You are advised to submit ASR form at the earliest for re-authorization of payment in active bank A/c.
  • Claimed your EPF (Provident Fund) through UAN claim?
  • Amount settled but not received into your bank account because you have a problem with your bank account or your savings bank account was closed due to known reasons?
  • Tried Grievance?

Received reply from EPFiGMS saying

Final Action of your Grievance
“This is with reference to your Grievance registered vide Registration Number *****************.

It is informed that after processing your grievance, the following action(s) has been taken:

It is informed that as per records your claim form 10C has been approved on dated 01/12/2018 for Rs.*****/- and payment sent through NEFT on dated 03/12/2018 but the same has been received back undelivered from your bank with remarks other on dated 13/12/2018. You are advised to submit ASR form at the earliest for re-authorization of payment in active bank A/c.

Therefore, we are closing your grievance from this office. Please quote the same in your future correspondence.”

Simple Solution

  • Update your KYC by logging into the UAN portal (https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/ )
  • Update your active savings bank account
  • Ask your employer to approve the KYC
  • After approval, reclaim whichever you want to
  • ·         Form-19 (EPF Final Settlement)
  • ·         Form-10C (Withdrawal Benefit / Scheme Certificate)
  • Within a week your claim will be settled

Tip: There is no need to go search for ASR form. I wasted a lot of time enquiring people what is ASR form and how to submit the form. After a research I found that people say that you cannot reclaim the amount again from UAN. You must submit ASR form. That is not true. You can reclaim by simply claiming again from UAN portal.

  1. It looks like you reclaimed your amount after one month. I am in same situation now. Can I reclaim immediately once the status shows Claim settled & returned.
