A Picture! An Epiphany! The Reminiscence! The Glory!

We had wings, we flew and stopped to take a picture.
Seeing the picture now is a personal epiphany
Of how we flew selflessly. That was just true reminiscence.
The joy of loving one another alone is the glory…

 A Picture!
We wish we don’t remember that birthday
She had lost all her glow. A terrible day.
The next morning was dull and pale.
We had wings, we flew and stopped to tell a tale.

An Epiphany!
We flew together and now we fly alone.
Our paths seldom cross. Yes, we are done.
A non-linear connection. Saw the same picture.
Personal epiphany resulting in this literature!

The Reminiscence!
The picture was a reminiscence of what we truly were.
We, is not about us but about how we got there.
We happened! The picture happened! Not to end,
The timeline is beautifully frozen for it to transcend.

The Glory!
I am broke. She is broken. We are broke. The world is broken.
Yet we love with all broken pieces, holding on…
To the same thing that broke us. We don’t fall or fail in love.
We grow in love and become that love. That is the glory of it.

So why did I do this?

We all love or loved someone. Our grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, friends, neighbours and other living beings… The face of reality changes every now and then. With time, we tend to forget the ones we love/loved.

And out of nowhere, when you see a picture of the person, you are reminded of the true YOU, what you are, what you were and how you will be the same person no matter how hard life takes a toll on you.

This is exactly the same reason why I did this.

Peace!
